ECOMBUSTION is based on the process of energy release from mineral substances while using traditional types of fuel as an ignition substance, which initiate the process of energy release from minerals, which itself gives significant gain of calorific value of mix because of increasing the completeness of combustion of fuel and extra energy release from minerals. A catalyst is a specially selected mixture of minerals that provides a cascade of reactions. In the "traditional fuel - catalyst" mixture, the catalyst is introduced evenly over the fuel volume in an amount that allows the ionization of the catalyst and the combustion process of the traditional fuel, while the optimal concentration of the catalyst is 0.12-0.15% of weight of the traditional fuel
The ionization of the mineral substance is made by the heat flow from the combustion of traditional fuel. Upon entering the combustion zone, the catalyst is heated to a temperature above 700℃, as a result - molecular bonds break in it, creating reactive free radicals, which intensify the process of combustion. This process is accompanied by numerous "microexplosions" and the release of additional energy, which can be visually identified by the increased brightness of the fireball. In this case, the value of the additional energy released in this process is limited by the upper limit, which is equal to the value of the specific energy of cohesion of atomic cores and binding electrons. The catalyst, when interacting with traditional fuel, is an additional source of energy, which creates conditions for a more complete oxidation of carbon and other volatile substances, even with a lack of oxygen in the combustion zone and decreased fuel supply it maintains the level of heat release. As an ultimate result, reached fuel savings are between the minimum of 20% and up to 25%
The catalyst works the same with liquid fuels (diesel, natural-gas condensate, low-viscosity marine oil, fuel oil) as with solid fuels and shows the same brilliant results. Asphalt-concrete mixing plants use liquid fuels in drum drying machines. For using ECOMBUSTION with drum dryer it is required to connect catalyst aerator to air supply line or air compressor on the one side, and to drum dryer on another side. Air comes to catalyst aerator, dust-air mix (air and catalyst) is created inside aerator and then dust-air mix is delivered to flame inside the drum dryer. No interference in the burner device is performed. Average consumption of catalyst is 1,5 kg per 1000 liters of liquid fuel
